PARKING NOTES

  • Drivers with an “Accessible Parking Permit” or “Disabled Person Parking Permit” may park in an accessible parking spot for FREE. Ensure permit is clearly visible! If parking in a regular parking spot, you will need to pay for parking.
  • Up to 3 motorcycles can share a single parking spot and only ONE parking ticket is required
  • Pay parking infraction tickets online at www.lambtonshores.ca/parking
  • Overnight passes can be purchased using HotSpot, at parking machines, and the Grand Bend Municipal Office. Overnight parking is available in the Huron Street lot, Mid Town lot, Ontario Street lot and Municipal Drive lot (located behind the Grand Bend Legion).
  • Please park in the same lot that the original ticket was purchased for as differing lots may vary in price. If the original lot is full, however, the three beach lots (Main Beach, North and Huron) are valued at the same amount and therefore may be interchangeable.

Do people with Accessible Parking Permits or special Veterans Licence plates have to pay for parking?

People with a current “Accessible Parking Permit” or “Disabled Person Parking Permit” may park in any designated handicap accessible spot for FREE. Ensure the permit is clearly visible on the vehicle. If you have to park in a regular parking spot, then parking fees apply.

Sorry, those with the special Veterans license plates DO NOT GET free parking. This decision is made on a municipal level, so each municipality will be different.
