Thank You for submitting your photographs for use in the 2023 It Starts At The Beach visitor activities guide! 

We’re looking for your BEST SHOTS that respond to the following themes:

  • Make a Splash,
  • Hit the Links,
  • Take Flight,
  • Adventure Awaits,
  • Set Sail,
  • Lake Fun,
  • Watchable Wildlife,
  • The One That Got Away,
  • Foodies At Large,
  • Family Fun and
  • There’s Gonna Be Sand.

Each photograph is selected on its ability to showcase Lambton Shores, Bluewater and South Huron, grab the viewer’s attention, tell a story and encourage visits to the area! Set your cell phone’s camera settings to at least 2880 pixels x 2160 pixels (6.2 Megabytes) or higher and 4:3 ratio. If you have a High Dynamic Range or HDR mode, set it to auto or on.

Deadline is November 1, 2022.

All photographs are given to our guide’s designer for selection as part of the guide’s design process. By mid-January, we will know which photographs have been selected for use. Owners of selected photographs will be contacted to arrange the mail out of the $10 gift voucher.

I UNDERSTAND my photographs will be used by the Grand Bend & Area Chamber of Commerce to promote and market the local area and as part of those promotional activities may share my photograph(s) with a travel writer or destination marketing organization. I understand the Chamber has no control over, and is not responsible for, the use or misuse of materials on its website, including my photograph(s). I UNDERSTAND that in exchange for my sharing of my photograph(s) with the Chamber, that every effort will be made to provide photo credit on every use, including requesting that travel writers and destination marketing organizations also provide photo credit to me. FOR THE PURPOSE STATED ABOVE, I CONSENT AND ALLOW the Chamber or its representatives to use, reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, broadcast and display my photograph(s) in any publication, multimedia production, video, CDROM/DVD, display, advertisement, website, social media site without further notice or my approval of finished phtograhs/ads.
